These Roasted Chickpeas (Aka Garbanzo Beans) are ultra-crispy, golden brown, and protein-packed snack recipe prepared with very little oil in an air fryer. Vegan, Gluten-free

Ingredient : 👇👇

: Chickpeas (Channa)

: Salt

: Olive oil

: Red chilli powder

: Chaat masala

: Black salt

: Dry Mango Powder

Method : 👇👇

Chickpeas (Channa)-1 cup

Wash well (omit this water)

Repeat this 2-3 times

Fresh water 4 cups

Soak for 5-6 hours or overnight

(soaked chickpeas)

Discard the water in which the chickpeas were soaked

Rinse once more

: Transfer them to the pressure cooker

: Water 4 to 5 cups-

: Salt 1/2 tsp

: (can boil chickpeas in instant pot)

: Pressure cook for 2 whistles and then boil for 15 minutes

: Let the pressure release itself

: Drain all the water from chickpeas

: Leave the chickpeas like this for 15 minutes

: Kitchen towel or tissue

: Let the chickpeas dry on a kitchen towel or
tissue for 1 hour

: Olive Oil – 1 tsp

: Salt – 1 tsp (or to taste)

: Toss them well

: Set the air fryer to preheat at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes

: Air fry at 200°C for 18 minutes

: Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp

: Chaat masala- 1/2 tsp

: Amchur

(Dry Mango Powder) – 1/4 tsp

: Black salt – 1/4 tsp

: Mix well

: Shake the basket every 5 minutes

: When only 2 minutes are left, add half of the seasoning mixture

: When time is up, transfer chickpeas to a bowl

: (Tip: Use the same vessel in which you put the boiled chickpeas with salt and oil)

: While the chickpeas are still hot, add the remaining spice mix

: Mix well

: Allow chickpeas to cool completely

: Store them in an airtight container once cooled
